Between our jobs, relationships, and (for some) kids, getting together with your girls is difficult. I make an effort to have a catch up session with friends at least once a month. Usually it is a happy hour or a night out at a bar or lounge. While these options are fun, it involves larger groups of people, noisy environments, and slightly increased alcohol consumption. Since we are overdue for a reunion we decided a nice dinner would be the best option.

Most federal museums and historic sites have free admission. This includes the historic house where our country’s leader lives, The White House. Visiting the White House alone is a priceless experience, but its free admission is an added bonus and makes it an even better low-cost date
option. However, it is not an easy one to come by. You can’t just walk up to the White House and ask for a tour.
Back in the summer of 2015 we decided we would start 2016 off with a joint project.
